The flexible foreskin probe and shielding ring is the key to ensuring precise alignment, eliminating urethral injury, and reducing pain from the procedure.
The top, blunt end of the probe is used to remove adhesions to the glans, thus freeing the foreskin. The sturdy shielding ring at the bottom protects the penis during the procedure. The shielding ring has a low profile, which allows it to be inserted between the foreskin and the glans, completely eliminating any need for a dorsal slit.
The foreskin holder is then advanced down onto the foreskin, where it gently but securely holds the foreskin in place, and ensures proper alignment of the skin during activation of the clamp.
