Single-Action Clamp

The Single-Action Clamp is placed over the foreskin probe and shielding ring. Only if the correctly sized shield is used can it be locked into place with an audible click. Visual feedback is also provided reassuring the provider that the infant is being protected. Using one hand, the lever arm is then activated down against the clamp housing, triggering the clamping and cutting action with a single actuation. The device itself precisely controls the timing of the crush and cut, ensuring the hemostatic crush occurs before the incision is made.
